Meet the fabulous fifth grade team!
My name is Katie Carter and this is my 10th year teaching fifth grade, and my seventh at the wonderful Stevens Forest! I grew up in Weirton, West Virginia and attended college at Shepherd University. Last year I proudly earned my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and chocolate lab. I’m looking forward to a successful school year.

Hi! My name is Jenna Inghram and this will be my seventh year teaching elementary school. My first five years were in Florida and last year I taught in Montgomery County. I have taught a few different grades but 5th graders always prove to be fantastic students! I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida Gulf Coast University (the ones who beat Georgetown in March Madness this year!) and my bachelor's degree is from Loyola University Chicago. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family, including my 2 mastiffs and cat, as well as training for triathlons and to read! I am thrilled to be a part of the Stevens Forest Community this year!

My name is Ruth Barth and I have been teaching at Stevens Forest since 1988. In my position as a Focus Teacher, I have had the pleasure of teaching fifth grade several times in recent years. I moved to Howard County in 1973 and raised my family here. My undergraduate degree is from UMBC. I received my Masters Degree as a Reading Specialist from Loyola College. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, gardening, home decorating, going to movies, and spending time with my family and friends. I am excited about working with the fifth grade students and staff again this year.

My name is Sandra Rosenberger. This is my ninth year at SFES and my seventh year as a paraeducator for 5th grade. I grew up in Glen Burnie, Maryland, and graduated from Towson University. When I'm not at school, you'll find me baking, running, journaling, or watching football, especially the Ravens! I live in Oakland Mills with my husband, our three sons, and our black lab, Sadie. I love that I get to teach within the wonderful neighborhood in which I live!
